A motion-driven, interactive web page that uses scrollytelling to present a brand’s products or services in a more narrative and engaging way. The final outcome will be a polished website where 3D elements, typography, and animations respond dynamically to users’ scrolling, gradually revealing content to create depth, rhythm, and a cohesive storytelling experience.
For the first step of Action Research – Planning, I researched different learning resources and tools that could help me strengthen those areas and move toward my project goals.
Throughout my research process, I explored multiple paths before realizing that not every interesting idea aligned with the skills I truly want to develop. Peer feedback and usability concerns helped me critically evaluate whether my concepts were practical, scalable, and meaningful beyond just being visually impressive. Shifting from the immersive VR storefront to a motion-driven scrollytelling website felt more intentional and aligned with my long-term goals in motion and branding. This process helped me understand that choosing the right direction is less about complexity and more about purposeful growth.
Moving forward, I will follow the Action Research plan and focus on strengthening my foundational motion and 3D skills to better understand what is realistically achievable this term. I plan to start by prototyping small scroll-based interactions and testing their pacing and usability across different devices. From there, I will gradually build toward a cohesive branded page that thoughtfully balances storytelling, performance, and clarity.
